me: people who refuse change .. lose. not just yesterday but all over the world .. all the time. people who refuse positive change lose at life.
me: they are cast away, in my book i think.
me: i will also say .. there is something inherently human about wanting a positive change .. something inherently American about trying to fix what is broken .. admitting past decisions were unwise .. and those who do not agree .. are cast away .. they turn to dust.
me: they don't write about people who supported vietnam in the text books.
me: text books are filled with stories about hippies.
me: and Dr. King.
me: what is once learned as unwise, remains unwise until the end of time.
me: it just takes a long time for a whole country to figure that out together.
me: or a majority of a country.
