now that i think about. i mean, sit down & REALLY think about it -- i understand what you're trying to do.

so here it is:
i got me here. remember that. how dare you try to take ownership of my success. of my progress. you didn't live through the physical & emotional abuse. you didn't live through the depression, the solitude, the loneliness. you didn't live through the clinics, the marijuana, the promiscuity.

& you sure as hell had nothing to do with my success. you didn't help me get my jobs, my boyfriend, you didn't help me study last semester in school, you didn't wake me up to go to therapy.

you didn't do any of that. i did.
